My client is seeking an experienced Data Architect to join their high-performing Data team in Dublin. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing end-to-end data architectures using the Azure ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with engineers, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions support analytics, reporting, AI, and operational workloads—securely, efficiently, and at scale.

Requirements:

• 8+ years’ experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer working extensively in Azure environments.
• Deep understanding of Azure data services, cloud architecture, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks
• Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Power BI
• Proficiency in data modelling, ETL/ELT design, and data warehousing.
• Strong grasp of security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) in the cloud.
• Solid experience with Python, T-SQL, Spark, or similar technologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience implementing real-time streaming solutions using Azure Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, or Kafka.
